Jules Nyquist will be reading from her latest chapbook “Appetites: poems on food, drink and sex” plus new poetry. Alicia Ultan may join her on viola for a couple of performance pieces and there will be a NEW mini-chapbook for sale.

Here are what fellow poets have to say about “Appetites”

“APPETITES was a treat, I loved the way it was put together-- quotes, recipes, prose, and the occasional insidious subtext” - Mitch Rayes

"Maturity and depth without pretension, Appetites explores and exposes the hunger that drives us, that gets us into trouble and that leaves us lingering on the lips of our humanity."
—Stewart S. Warren, The Song of It: a travelogue of Norteño

Jules looks forward to sharing her poems with YOUR poems (or come to listen) for an evening of experiencing that hunger that drives us to become writers and share our voice with the world.
