Denise Weaver Ross explores her understanding of the world through art and poetry while living in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a community which has nurtured her and her family, her art and poetry since 1996.

 
This is her sixth book of poetry, but the first one that includes no artwork except for the cover. 
 
Previous books of art and poetry include Midwest by Northeast by Southwest, 
the House of Cards series—The Heart Suit, The Tree Suit, The Star Suit,
The Bone Suit,
and The Whole Deck. 
 
Her art and poetry has also been included in numerous anthologies,

Haiku and Hexagrams, that is based on the I Ching,

George Wallace is writer in residence at the Walt Whitman Birthplace, author of 37 chapbooks of poetry, and editor/co-editor of Poetrybay, Great Weather for Media, Long Island Quarterly and Walt's Corner. Winner of numerous prizes at international poetry festivals, he is a prominent figure on the NYC performance scene and maintains a regular presence on the West Coast and in the UK, and travels throughout the continental US and Europe to share his work. US festival appearances include the Woody Guthrie Festival, John Steinbeck Festival, Howlfest, da levy fest, Sapphofest, Kansas City Throwdown, Connecticut Beat Poetry fest and Lowell Celebrates Kerouac. European festivals include Ledbury Festival, Words by Water, Festival d'Avignon, the Orpheus Festival and Ditet e Naimit 'Days of Naim' festival in Tetova, Macedonia. George has visited New Mexico to perform his work on two previous occasions, and appeared at the Church of Beethoven, Mabel Dodge Luhan House, Teatro Paraguas  and Jules' Poetry Playhouse in Albuquerque.
